The biggest problem I see with most patients, is that they eat way too much, to lose weight quickly on a low carb diet. Try to keep your calories below 1000 a day. 600-800 is even better. 500-600 is best, if you can do it. The next problem is not drinking a gallon (128 ounces) of non-caloric fluid (water, coffee, tea, diet pop) a day. You need this much fluid to flush out the fat you are burning. Fat burns to large molecules that you pee out – acetaldehyde and betahydroxybutarate. To move the scale and feel and be at your best, you need this much fluid to flush your kidneys. The next problem is not drinking 2-4 bouillon cubes a day, to replace the salt you lose on a low carbohydrate diet, to prevent muscle cramps. The next problem is no exericise. Do 12 minutes of intervals (four 3 minute intervals) every other day.
