The big lie in weight loss

The big lie in weight loss

The big lie is that you can freely feed on a low carb diet and lose weight. The truth is that unless you calories are about 1000 a day or less, the big bet is you won’t lose weight quickly enough to make the deprivation worth it. You won’t stay on a low carb diet consistently enough to lose weight, unless your weight is pouring off. Freely feeding on a low carb diet doesn’t work, because left unchecked, your calories will rapidly go to stup. Many patients have gained weight on Atkins, eating as much quiche and sugar-free cheesecake and steak as they want. You absolutely, positively cannot eat as much as you want on a low carb diet, and expect to lose weight. Freely feeding doesn’t work for any kind of weigh loss.
