Losing weight is a 3 stage process. Stage 1 – You limit your carbohydrates to 10-20 grams per feeding (20-40 grams of carbohydrate a day), and you’ll lose your first 20-30 pounds. You can just about freely feed during stage 1, and you’ll still lose weight. Stage 2 – You need to do something to give you better control over you carbohydrate cravings. I like Cognitive Defusion. Stage 3 – In order to lose your next 10-30 pounds, you need to continue to limit your carbohydrates to 10-20 grams per feeding, but you also need to limit your calories to about 1000 a day.
