If you can figure out the structure of dead animals and 5% veggies that works for you, you can lose weight. You can eat as much of any vegetable you like, without butter, oil or margarine – except no peas, no potatoes and no corn. The trick is to come up with a regimented food plan you can follow consistently. It’s easier to eat nothing at all than to eat a little – so most patients do better eating two meals a day, or eating just one meal a day. You can’t eat as much protein as you want, or your calories will go to stupid. Limit youself to a pound and a half of protein a day, or a pound or protein a day – or you won’t lose weight. Most patients do best eating 8-12 ounces of dead animal, twice a day. Or eat 16-24 ounces, once a day. Don’t think for a minute you can freely feed on protein and fat and lose weight.
