An easy and popular way to eat less than 1000 calories a day is my Soup Diet. Use any canned soup you like, without milk or cream or rice or noodles or pasta or peas or potatoes or corn. Use the soup as your liquid base for steaming cauliflower or kale or broccoli or Brussels sprouts or green beans or any low carbohydrate vegetable you like. It’s hard to go over 1000 calories a day, eating as much soup and low carbohydrate veggies as you like. Weight loss is usually 3-5 pounds a week, and you’ll be stuffed.
