Your carbohydrate cravings are automatic, something that happen to you. Carbohydrate cravings occur naturally over time. You can’t control your carbohydrate cravings. Your cravings come and go in response to internal biologic triggers and external cues. What you can control is your internal and external environments. If you are eating sweets and starches, your are triggering insulin, which makes you crave more carbohydrates. If you are walking by a bakery or a Dairy Queen, external cues can trigger sweet and starch cravings. You can control your internal environment by not eating sweets and starches.
