Caffeinated fluid can help you lose weight. Half the time when you think you are hungry, you’re thirsty. Coffee, tea, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Jolt etc. – can all give you a short term energy boost, and satisfy your sweet cravings – so you are less likely to self-medicate with food. It’s almost impossible to drink too much caffeinated fluid on a diet, and in general, coffee, tea and diet pop really help patients lose weight. If you have problems sleeping, stop your caffeine after 6pm, or after 3pm if you are very sensitive.
