If you’re not losing weight fast enough on 1000-1500 low carb (10-20 grams per feeding) calories a day, a trick that can help is to keep your calories the same, but increase the percentage of fat you are eating. A tablespoon of olive oil is 100 calories. An ounce of fish or shellfish is 20-30 calories, pork and poultry are 40 calories, and beef is 50-80 calories an ounce. Add olive
oil to your protein, eat less protein to make up for the olive oil calories, and see what happens to the scale.
